These terms cover the current product

These terms apply when you visit mellavi.com or use the Mellavi task manager available on this origin. By using the site or app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The current product is a free, local-first browser application. It does not provide a Mellavi account, paid plan, hosted task database, cloud backup, or cross-device sync. Pricing shown for proposed sync is informational; no checkout is currently available.

Your tasks and your device

You retain responsibility for the task content you enter. Mellavi currently stores that content in this browser on this device and does not receive a server copy that can restore it for you.

Clearing site data, using a temporary browser session, browser storage management, device loss, or changes to this origin may remove local data. Until an explicit export or backup feature exists, do not rely on Mellavi as the only copy of irreplaceable information.

Acceptable use

• Use the service only in compliance with applicable law.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass the security of the site, deployment, or other connected services.
• Do not use the site to distribute malware, infringe another person’s rights, or misrepresent an affiliation with Mellavi.
• Do not automate abusive traffic or interfere with another person’s ability to use the public service.

Availability and changes

Mellavi is an early product provided on an as-available basis. Features may change, pause, or be removed while the product develops. The team may also restrict abusive access or stop operating the public service.

Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page with a new review date. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means the updated terms apply from that point forward.

No unsupported guarantees

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mellavi is provided without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, permanently available, or suitable as a backup system. The product does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mellavi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the current free service, including loss of locally stored task data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Accounts, sync, and payments require new terms

If Mellavi introduces accounts, encrypted sync, subscriptions, or payment processing, the product, privacy explanation, cancellation terms, billing rules, and service commitments will be published before those features are sold or activated. The present terms do not turn a proposed pricing option into a purchased service.
