Task content
The current Mellavi app stores categories, tasks, subtasks, layout, and theme preferences in your browser’s local storage on this device. There is no Mellavi account or task-content backend in the current product.
Mellavi does not intentionally send task titles, subtask text, category names, or task descriptions to analytics.
Optional product analytics
A deployment may enable PostHog to record a small allowlist of explicit product events, such as opening the app, clicking a landing call to action, viewing pricing, or expressing interest in sync. Autocapture, automatic pageviews, session replay, and anonymous person profiles are disabled in the application configuration.
Allowed event properties are limited to interface context such as the call-to-action location, layout, theme, and whether local app data already exists. Task and category content are not allowed properties.
Browser-storage limitations
Local browser data is tied to this site’s origin and your browser profile. Clearing site data or using a temporary private-browsing session can remove it. Browsers may also manage storage under device pressure. Mellavi does not currently provide cloud recovery or export.
Sync status
Encrypted sync, backup, and recovery are proposed capabilities shown on the pricing screen. They are not currently sold or represented as complete. This page will be materially revised before any account or sync service launches.
Questions and changes
Privacy language should match running code. When storage, analytics, or sync behavior changes, Mellavi will update this page and its date rather than silently broadening the description.
